Sunday 24 June - Welcome Reception at 19.00

On the first evening of the Symposium, right after the last tutorial, a welcome cocktail will be organized for registered participants and accompanying persons. This cocktail will be held at the Symposium venue in the beautiful ancient cloister and will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet together informally for drinks and snacks before formal proceedings start on Monday morning.

Tuesday 26 June - Social dinner on board of the Galleon at 20.00

Are you ready to join us? Get on board of the galleon, designed to look like the ships sailing the Venetian Republic between 1600 and 1800, and here to take you through the enchanting Venetian lagoon . We leave just outside the Symposium venue at 20.00. The slow navigation on the enlightened lagoon of Venice will show you the wonderful buildings in the Giudecca Canal and St. Mark's Basin, including Molino Stucky, Church of Redentore, Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and St. Mark Square. During the sightseeing you will relax and enjoy a fabulous buffet but… don't eat too much otherwise you will loose the dancing contest! Open to registered participants and accompanying persons.
